Jun 04, 2024

A magnetic power bank that wirelessly charges a number of iPhone models is being recalled over its risk of short-circuiting and catching fire.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission issued a recall for the Comsol Pty Ltd 10000mAh 20W USB-A & USB-C magnetic wireless power bank sold at Officeworks stores nationally.

It warned the product is at risk of short-circuiting, overheating and catching fire.

“Stop using the power bank immediately.”

The product is used to wirelessly charge iPhone 12, 13 and 14 models.
